Do you need a subscription?

No. There is a one time fee and that's it.

Do you need special hardware or a special app to play the final sound file?

No. You can listen to your file in any music player, anywhere. We deliver WAV files, with the highest quality. If you'd like your story in a different format such as MP3, let us know and we'll send you the export free of charge. 

Can I get a refund?

Partial refunds are available until the draft is approved by you. After the draft is approved we cannot issue a refund as the work has already been completed by the designer. Please email support@storiesforgenerations.com if you have any issues and we'll do our best to help you.

What format do you export in?

WAV 24 bit/ 48k. Think of this as the industry standard resolution for audio. This helps you clearly hear a wider frequency spectrum and is perfect for stories, atmospheres, sound effects and music. You can also request an .mp3 file for sharing.

How can I add a section to my story?

It depends what stage of the process you are in. If we're still working on your draft, please email us and we'll try to accommodate you, although it could extend the time of the project. If you have already approved the draft, there will be a $50 fee for an "Additional Pass" where we can add another section to your story.

How does "Plant 10 Trees per order" work?

We have partnered with Ecologi which is a tree planting company that supports projects all over the world. You can check out our Ecologi profile here. Planting 6 Trees a month covers a typical person's carbon footprint - we plant 10 to make sure you're covered. We have promotions multiple times a year where we plant 100 trees per order, offsetting your carbon footprint for 16+ months. Join our newsletter to get updates. 

How can I tip my designer?

There will be a link in the Final Delivery Email to tip your designer.

Is there a limit on the length of my story?

Yes. The basic packages cover full production of a 5 minute story. Extra charges will apply for longer stories. Your designer will discuss this with you in the consultation call if it applies.

Can you add a video, pictures or animation thereby delivering a video product with sound design to my story?

In certain circumstances we might be able to add other elements. Extra charges will apply. Please let your designer know if you would like to add video elements to your project.
